Creek and Pit River for prime fly fishing. Hunting, hiking, water skiing and
snowmobiling can be enjoyed in their season. Burney is a central area for
hunting where many types of game, including bear, deer and various types of
birds, abound. McArthur-Burney Falls State Park is one of the most scenic
areas in northern California and has an excellent campground, nature trails
and brilliant Fall colors. The Fall colors alone are well
worth a trip to the park. Nearby is Lake Britton where one can water
ski, sail, picnic or fish.
